Infrared saunas and asthma

Allergy and asthma sufferers are never supposed to go into a dry or steam sauna; however, infrared saunas are used to treat asthma and allergies with tremendous success, as well as other lung and breathing disorders.

Dr. Jozef Krop is a pioneer in sauna therapy and had published papers about the success with asthma.  Dr. Krop showed that chronic asthma in a patient exposed to industrial chemicals from the petroleum industry was eliminated in about four weeks.

Infrared sauna users have reported going from using an inhaler 3 times per week, down to 3 times per year, after only 2 months of regular infrared sauna use.

Infrared sauna users have also had positive results from adding eucalyptus or peppermint essential oils on a cotton ball inside the sauna.  Ask us more about the use of essential oils in an infrared sauna.  Please call us at (615) 714-0184 for more information.
